hi all, im haveing problems with batteryon my 07 RRS..i went to buy a new battery but was told no need, got to drive for at least 18 miles to charge the battery up,,,what the ek..!!! he then told me to buy a solar power pack to trickle charge the battery.... what are your views please,?? 2007 COOLRRS |

You'd have to drive all day at good speed to charge it. A solar trickle charger isn't a bad idea, but to really charge it you need to get a proper charger on it. A smart charger like a CTEK is ideal.

If you aren't using it very much and have mains power near the car, buy a CTEK 5 charger. £60 on ebay |

Plug your ctek into the towing electrics with an adaptor from the shop off here... |

hi all, got it sorted now, the solar panel went back as it discharged my battery, !!!.... and checked the cells in the battery, 2 were a mucky colour and done for... so new battery it was then... SORTED at last....drive 18 miles my A*** 2007 COOLRRS |

You were obviously talking to some kind of monkey about your battery.....! You'd be hard pressed to find any better advice than on here |
