Hi Guys,

I am thinking of fitting the tow bar electrics to my 2012 RRS. I am an electrical engineer so wiring is no issue.
Quick questions:

It should be just plug and play?

It seems to suggest the car needs coding too? If its not coded, is it just the dash warnings that come on or other issues?

Not totally sure but I think it has something to do with reverse/parking sensors being disabled when towing as well.

My approach would be to buy a genuine LR one from Dan at Duckworths and not some cheap and nasty imitation
Fit it yourself then get someone to hook it up to a diagnostic and tell the car its fitted.....Bodsy might be able to do that. He's in Telford. Visitor from fullfatrr.com
