Bought a little Kubota 7100D tractor, bit like the picture below but with a loader & a roll bar (eBay LED light bar on top of course!)



Took it over to Ireland end of Feb & put it to work helping clear brush/ferns/scrub/gorse etc on the top of a hill happen to own in Donegal. At the time, everything was really wet and as the land hasn't been managed for 50+ years, all the ditches are shot and it gets very boggy. Had to blaze own trails.

This little tractor went absolutely anywhere I wanted it. At various points had it up to both its axles in soft gloopy mud and it just carried on through. High & Low range (3 fwd, 1 rev). Thought it would get stuck at the bottom of slopes, turned muddy with clearing stuff but turn it round, point it back up and away it went. Absolutely amazing and probably nearly as good as the tracked dumper I also have. Actually, it might be better in some places come to think of it.

All in all a good demonstration of the capabilities of 4WD

Having the right tyres is a big help too; presumably your tractor has similar tyres to the one in the photo. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Why should such things be the preserve of Disco owners? My RRS does everything a Disco does and is treated like one too - just looks a lot better. Only gets washed/hoovered for weddings/funerals...
