Car Alarm keeps going off

the alarm seems to randomly go off, the dash board says bonnet open, is it easy to change the sensor guys, ?

Yes, it's an easy DIY fix. Change the sensor or the bonnet catch. 20 minutes from opening the bonnet to putting the kettle on. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
