Supertrotter & Mrs ST`s RoadTrip

Long time no speak!

Here is the story so far...........

Folkestone on Sunday - If you have to stay there you can do a lot worse than The Hotel Relish.

Monday - Eurotunnel without a hitch - Brilliant!
Stayed in Brugges in Relais Bourgondische Cruyce - Very nice hotel and beautiful town.

Tuesday - Brussels. NH Hotels very good and great VFM! Real Belgian Stella tastes so much better than the guff in the UK.

Wednesday - stayed for 2 nights in Epernay in La Briqueterie. Lovely hotel again and even better sampling the many Champagnes on offer!

Thursday - Visited Chateau Moet et Chandon and picked up a couple of tipples. A bottle of Dom Perignon for christening the new house!!! Had to carry Mrs ST back to the RRS after yet another degustation.

Friday went to Luxembourg to see what was there............as I suspected not a great deal. No offence to any members from Luxembourg!

Saturday - Today - We are in Strasbourg. Didn`t really know what to expect but it is beautiful. The hotel is lovely too!

Tomorrow is over the border to Angel-land and 2 nights in Baden Baden....Pardon? No, Baden Baden!

'Spose I should have expected that! Usual suspects and all that!

Well, celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary in Baden-Baden and it's a lovely part of the world.

BTW, seen quite a few Sports on the way. Hello to all those in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, and apologies from the banzai English driver batting down the wrong side of the road, barging all and sundrie out of the way!!!!

Tomorrow, we depart for Zurich for 1 night before spending a couple of nights in Lugano.

FOOTNOTE: Have to say that even though we have seen many Sports along the way, the Stormers really have caused a stir and turned heads!

love Lugano - was lucky enough to have a supplier a few miles down the road from there a few years ago so spent some time there. Used to wonder done to the lake and watch the locals play Chess in the evening - enjoy!!!

Hello boys!

Sat here with the good lady introducing her to the delights of RRSport!

Her with a glass of Champers and me with an Ameretto. Surprisingly civillised I know..........

Jay, your moderator challenging pic raised an eyebrow from Mrs ST!

She has just had a good laugh at that, but after the day we've just had (€300 on Spa treatments at The Brenners Park Hotel in Baden-Baden, where the World Cup WAG's spent their time during world cup), nothing phases us!
