Range Rover Sport 2.7td v6 Remap

Hi All Im looking at a 2.7 td v6 today.

Hope it all goes well, im just trying to find out what remapping options there are and who people reccommend. Is it worth it and how much does it cost?

Will it affect reliability?

What power can i get out of a TD v6 stage 1 remap......will i need to upgrade anything else after having a remap?

Regards
Mike

Just had mine done by Bodsy on here, it's a BAS remap and you can t really go wrong with it, lots of other options out there I have no experience of so do some reading as its YOUR engine, gearbox etc at risk of a bad remap Nanocom Evo

I have a BAS remap geared towards increasing torque for towing and overtaking at 100-110kph rather than outright power - has been great and no downside that I can see.

Is that around 40bhp??

What prices are these remaps?

They are bespoke maps for your requirements and depend on what your standard has learned from your driving. So numbers are really not known before hand - mine was geared at torque not power so 40hp is not relevant unless you want to increase your absolute top speed.

In my case my 0-100kph time (foot on brake then floor the accelerator) changes form about 14.5 secs to 12.1 secs.

Estimated torque with my map increased from 440nm to 500nm but is estimated only. 07MY RRS TDV6
