Looks like my saga may be about to conclude

Dealer has verbally confirmed factory delay on mine was due to risk of wiring loom rubbing picked up by QC fixed with protective sheath and egr foul fixed with modified clip/reposition so nothing too serious. I've asked for written confirmation before delivery and subject to this looks like Wednesday is the day

It has taken them long enough to find some insulation tape and a new jubilee clip... I don't buy into that one Muddy.. That simple fix could have and would have taken all of about an hour to fix. Do you honestly think JLR would hold your car and many other DS's for 3 months + for such a simple fix?
Pleased you can see light at the end of the long tunnel.
Has the DS your driving now already had this fix do you know?

Apparently the delay was due to massive numbers involved and demand on factory plus waiting for fixes to be released
