When I picked up the Sport the wheels were a little scuffed- from the previous owner

Unfortunately I caught the NSF in a car park at the weekend so now I do need to get them refurbished.

They are currently sparkle silver, but I'm thinking of going anthracite so that they will show the dirt less.

However, given the cost of a refurb (circa £400) and that the tyres are all about 3-4mm and will need replacing soon, I'm now thinking of getting a set of 21 inch alloys from a new shape for £1100- with new Contis or Pirelli tyres.

Would the L494 wheels fit without any problems, and would there be an issue with tyre dimensions.

The only worry would be that on my old Evoque I upgraded to 20 inch wheels and the ride was slightly harsher, so would moving to 21 on my sport make is harsher as well with the lower tyre ratio?

The 21" wheels will fit with no problems, the tyres on the 21's are actually 45 profile so the ride is fine as the standard RRS1 profile is 40 on a 20" rim. It will vary the speedo slightly at 30mph you will be doing 31/32 mph at 70mph it will be around 74/75mph.

Ive got new shape 21" wheels on and the ride is fine. As Col said the profiles are 45s on the later sport and drive spot on, i was worried when i went to these from 20" but needn't have been. Mine had brand new Pirelli scorpions on too....well chuffed.

How about a nice set of genuine 21" LR L405 wheels ?
