The non-spec differences between HSE and Autobiography

Thought I would comment on this as I've had an HSE Dynamic for two weeks whilst my Autobiography was in for warranty and snagging. Both vehicles are SDV6 16MY and brand new. I've experienced a couple of differences between the derivatives which don't appear to be mentioned on paper:

- Autobiography gives a much quieter ride. Engine seems quieter, road and wind noise much less. Not sure why?
- Autobiography seats considerably more comfortable in terms of adjustability and seat foams.

I'd really recommend the upgrade to AB if you can stretch. To me they feel like different cars.

Glad to have my AB back now despite the dealer covering all the high gloss in scratches when I asked them not to wash it! Anyway, they're replacing all high gloss including the bonnet vents next time it's in!

I was looking at an HSE Dynamic originally. You'd be surprised that an AB works out only a little more pricey on PCP over 3 years than a good spec HSE Dynamic because of a) better standard spec and b) better GMFV.

It is though advertised the leather is better on the AB, and the stereo has more than double the output, many subwoofer(s) so thus drowns out the noise....

Also in a similar position more plastic,,and less damping on the non AB interior. I suspect the extra leather is a better cushioning effect,

Yes the finish IMO is vastly superior in the AB cabin. Yes it costs more but not a lot more than a well spec'd HSE. Don't even get me started on that HSE sound system Shocked

Also a big part of that £25k upgrade you say is the Dynamic and Off Road pack...Dynamic totally transforms the car.
