Active Exhaust Option?

Just been looking something about the e-diffs and as you do I found a chaprter about the Active Exhaust system (Page 108)- the same system as Jaguar fits as an option to the F Type Jags so you can have a loud exhaust or a fire spitting and deafening exhaust at the press of a button! I assume these are an option on the V8 S/C and SVR but I have never seen the check box for it on the configuator or when going through a spec with the dealer so is it an option in the UK or a bit of LR mis-information? If you have it fitted then the DSC on/off button on the centre consol is the same size as the Lo range switch and the Active Exhaust switch is where the "missing" half of the DSC switch should be. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I believe - not an option, only standard on SVR. SVR can't have the off-road cruise control (whatever it's called) for this reason.

Isn't it simply the fact that the button position is taken up with the sports exhaust button which means there is nowhere for the off-road cruise control button to go plus, I assume, whatever software is used to act on that button push is different between the SVR and other cars. Mark

Tim, Phil and Mark are both correct. We don't sell active exhaust on non SVR cars.

Startech do an active exhaust for the 2014 Supercharged.

I have tried to paste a linK to Youfftube but no luck.

Have a look at the JE motors site and look for RRS tuning.
