Refill at main service - from the book 'DEF consumption can vary greatly dependant on driving style and conditions etc.' My dealer will charge for between service to-up and its a 250 mile round trip to my nearest dealer and for that matter anywhere else that currently sells the dammed stuff.

I am shocked as most service stations sell it! It has been about for years...well 2007 since Euro 4 emissions were implemented. All lorries since 2007 run Adblue..... We use it on our Horsebox and in reality it's a piece of p:ss....

I live on an island, nearest place to buy anything automotive + Tesco, M&S, Waitrose, B&Q, etc. etc. is a 250 mile round trip. Local filling stations don't stock it as yet - hell they have only just progressed from hand cranked pumps! 2018 MY19 HSE Dynamic, Santorini, Ebony/Ivory, Sliding pano, Adaptive cruise, Black wheels. According to this they will top it up at service but I think if you run out in between services it won't be included:

Maybe one for Pete to confirm?

I believe ad blue top ups are included in the service pack as posted above. The dealer said this for mine. Also oil top ups are becoming included in service packs. Haven't asked re LR but my BMW service pack includes oil top ups if the car electronic dipstick says it needs some. MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

That is if you can believe the electronic dipstick! I've now done 6000 miles in mine since March and the dash indicator is still showing Full. Now I have owned Range Rover Sports since 2005, and a few other RR's between and all have needed a top up long before 6000 miles as the high carbon content cast iron block absorbed oil, after then consumption was negligable. What really concerns me is that despite following the instructions to the letter the dipstick gives a level of about 1/3rd of the oil has been burned maybe every 4th or 5th check................. I don't want to add more incase the level really still is Full/OK but also I don't want to have a solid lump of metal between the front wheels.......... I would much sooner have a proper old fashioned dip stick (even one like the RRS1's silly one with the beads along it as at least they don't tell fibs!) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

From Landrover.co.uk if you look at eu6 page.

There two ways that the DEF levels in your vehicle can be fully replenished outside of service intervals:

- For the convenience, Land Rover Service Plans include complimentary DEF top-ups between service cycles, from either Jaguar or Land Rover approved service centres.

- Alternatively, you can arrange a top-up at a service centre for a fee.

If DEF levels are critically low, you can also take direct action and top up yourself, to allow time to schedule a professional replenishment.

- You will need two JLR-approved AdBlue™ refill bottles. These can be purchased from JLR Retailers and come with a unique splash guard filler to aid easy refills. You can purchase AdBlue™ from independent auto shops. Please ensure the standard you buy is ISO 22241-1 or DIN 70070.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

I remember driving for a company & they got 3 new trucks that needed ad blue,we used a tank full in about 3-4 days dependent on driving modes & wether we we running loaded or empty,we used to just fill ad blue tank with water & it never made any differance then but I'm sure dealers cottoned on to drivers doing this & altered the system do it knew the differance.
