Choose your own exhaust sound - via In control App?

This looks pretty clever IMHO! Wonder how long it will be before this becomes part of Incontrol apps Razz

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I would love to have the "Electric Car" sound please for long trips, boomy exhausts are fine for a short time but then get annoying so silence on a long trip would be great............... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Switchable exhaust sound has been a feature on Jaguar F type since launch, and on XKRs before that.

So JLR already do it. On petrol V6s and V8s.

Trouble is, it isn't usually worth doing on turbo diesels as they have little exhaust sound character worth releasing. Hence the artificial sounds in some BMWs. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I think the exhaust note on my diesel RRS2 sounds pretty good, with a nice burble. I was chatting to a salesman sitting in an SVR and it was brilliant, but he had to turn it off fairly quickly so we could chat properly! MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

I love the sound of my Supercharged too! Smile

But only if I had not test driven an SVR, I would still be a happy bunny Sad
