Lpg,...... it's the way to go. 2nd hand Petrol v8 conversion worked out at best value for money and best mpg per ££££ 2008 Supercharged Stornaway Grey, 22inch black Stormers

I was considering a secon hand RRS as they are a bargain at the moment and of course the V8 is an even better deal and usualy with low miles. Generaly how reliable are they compared to each other. I never had a problem with The D4 and only EGR valves on the D3. | ||

, when I bought it -it said average was 19.1 !!! In the 18 months I owned it I always got between 24.5 and 26 mpg driving round Herefordshire (even Hereford itself !!) Went to Cornwall for the week out of season and got 28mpg . effortless and would not begrudge spending a single penny on fuel for it . Miranda ....Just to add ,If this your thread is to help make a choice between the 2 , for me there was no contest , I was going to buy the v6 as I thought it would be cheaper all round , fuel , tax, insurance ! but just drive the 2 on the same day , there was no comparison V8 all the way
