What I have found on mine is that the seat back although I can feel it, it is nowhere near as cool as the base, I have even just put the back on just to see if it reaches the same level, which it doesn't. Mentioned to the dealer which he looked at and got the same sort of reply. They did replace the AC unit ( for the life of me can't think what it's called what they changed ) because of a different issue, and I did notice the cooling of the seats a lot more after but haven't tried just the back yet to see if it's made a difference, when I get a chance (remember) I'll try it out. 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

They do take a few minutes to get to full cooled temperature and it's not instant..... But they are great on a hot day....

I had these in my Jag XF, the backs hardly get cold, but if you lift the base of you back slightly you will feel it. In my opinion they are just a gimmick. Feels like you have had a shower with tea-tree oil, quite uncomfortable around the gentleman region to be honest. In addition, the seats are harder with this option fitted. Never again would I have the climate seats. |
