Lever the ends out to pop it off. Easier with help but ok alone. The wiring can be fixed either with a suitable butt connector or by soldering. Ensure whatever you do is protected from water ingress. I did a temporary repair on mine earlier this year and it's been fine until some recent wet weather running caused the odd error. I bought a replacement loom for about £50 and will, at some point, fit that to make a permanent repair.

Im presuming that you can't tell if it is an eroded cable or the sensor itself until you get the rear bumper off? I have an intermittent failure on mine. Weather conditions etc make no difference, dry, wet, hot, cold etc. They can work/stop working on the same journey, even on the same reversing operation. 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester) http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic46383.html | ||
