I get them in my garage every week with damaged locking nuts,,worst thing you can fit.

Yep, bin 'em. The previous owner had already got rid of mine. My local tyre fitter was pleased to hear that they're gone too. |

In our garage the biggest problem is when some muppet has used the wrong sized socket on the nuts and damages the Crome !!! 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I replaced all 4 locking nuts and a further 5 normal nuts that had swollen. Fortunately these were found when I had front & rear brakes replaced and the garage had to hammer them on/off.

The only problem with locking nuts is when some idiot tightens them up with a air gun,,when we tighten them up we only nip them up just over hand tight as the wheels are not going to drop off with 4 of the nuts tight.
