Channel 4 For the love of cars

Just watched this on catch up season 1 episode 2 - restoration of a series 1 LR and I'm blown away Shocked

Would love to own one like it I'm guessing mega cost to do something like this Bow down

Top quality early Series 1 are going for silly money these days. £40k+ is not unheard of, although whether something that has been "restored" to within an inch of its life is actually worth more than something "lived in" is a question for the individual.

Blimey, I never knew those primitive old things commanded that kind of money. Shocked Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Bought my first for £100 in mid 80s. Sold it for £3200 in early 90s to senior engineer at Jordan F1 - he's still got it Thumbs Up
