United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Contacted local dealer and checked for outstanding recalls. Brake servo recall was outstanding along with a fuel pipe recall. The car is booked in later on next week and I will report back with the results.
Thanks to everyone.
Fingers crossed.

I called to see if there was any outstanding recalls and they checked the database with my VIN no.
Hopefully it will cure the problem I'm currently experiencing.
I will keep you posted.

Land Rover have had my vehicle 9 days now after agreeing that the fault was the brake servo. First they said that the recall was outstanding (which prompted me to book it in) and then a few days after them having the vehicle I received a call to say that the recall work had been done previously. Very strange. They have the parts but are waiting for LR Customer Services to agree payment apparently. Should it really be taking this long?
I have also had a call from them to question a previous sport (purchased from this LR Dealer) I owned on the same registration plate. This was followed by questions of 'where and when did you purchase the vehicle?' has the vehicle been serviced etc all of which I could answer straight away.
Why the delay?
Have they confused the two vehicles by checking the Reg No. instead of the VIN no. ?
Ridiculous if you ask me........
This is the second weekend without a car and with two kids its taking the P!55

I'd bet that they've been lazy and checked against the reg. no. rather than the VIN. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That's exactly what I thought.
The good news is that LR contacted me about 5.30pm tonight (following my last post haha) to confirm they would replace the servo and vac pipe upgrade. Finally, but why has it taken 9 days.

Just the the car back tonight following the work and I have taken it out for a test drive. First thing I have noticed is that the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel are now not working. Is there a plug to check possibly which they may have disturbed?

I suspect that they've trapped the wiring in behind the airbag and it's crimped or cut the cable.
You need to take the airbag off to check. Bodsys Brake Bible

Checked things over around the servo, turned the ignition on and hey presto the cruise control is now working. Are these machines built to frustrate?
Anyway, great news on the initial fault. The replacement servo etc seems to have done the trick. Thank you for all your help.....
