2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

LPG conversion - Petrol 4.2 supercharged

Hi all,

I have the opportunity to buy a 2005 Sport with LPG conversion. I am unsure whether this is a good idea or not, how reliable are the cars once converted? Or should I stick to buying a TDV6?

Is there anything I should look out for?

Any advice is welcome.

From what I have read here and on other forums fitting LPG to the S/C (either version) is a big no-no that will end up with engine damage 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

From my own experience, their brilliant!! I have one and my father bought one for an employee, has it 5 years and and there's 150000miles on it and no real problems only suspension.

Yes!! Bought with 27000 miles now got 148000miles no problems engine wise at all!! Mines on 74000miles, lpg fitted 65000
