Which Oil & How Much? Autobox 2.7 TDV6

Getting the local garage to change the leaky electric plug sleeve in my gearbox with the new modified sleeve from Advance Factors.

Question is, what oil should be put back in and how much does it take after bein drained? I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

I have all that, gearbox was serviced less than 12 months ago but the problem is we need to drop the oil just to change the seal. Rather than putting old oil back in thought fresh would be best.

This listing says 10 litres of oil, is that over compensating or does it take 10? Sounds a lot? I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

Sorry - I first read the standard sump pan page and on that one it says:

Quote:
We include 10 litres to enable a decent flush through, the actual capacity of 7 litres is not enough

I hadn't realised it didn't say the same for the metal BMW sump. Wink

So 7 litres should be plenty if you aren't trying to flush it through a bit. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
