I'm so chuffed with the result. The photo's don't really do them justice as they are super bright and crisp white.

very smart...and matching side lights !!!! Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Yeah....got the Dabhees ones. I liked the look of the 5 led rings.

Did the whole job in a day. Probably 2 hours per light. Maybe and hour for the engine wire up.
I wanted to take my time so I didn't make any mistakes.

Used a heat gun, not an oven.

Got everything laid out first.



Removed lights from car. Remove the retaining clips.



Unbolt the light brackets. One has four bolts.



The other has three bolts.



Two bolts are visible. You need to pull the sliding clip right up to make the third bolt visible.



Worked the heat gun on it's low setting around the light to soften the resin.
I took my time here. Used a flat head screwdriver too.
Move a little....reheat...move a bit more...reheat until it comes away.






Drilled a hole to take wires and countersunk the hole because of the resin around where the cables are attached to the ring.
It needed to sit flush.






I keyed up around the light rim with some sand paper and set the rings on with some resin glue and spray activator.



Didn't take any photos but drilled the rear of the light, passed the cables out the back and silicon sealed.

Refitted the lens with more heat. Refitting the retaining clips helps keep it in place.
I also sealed the perimeter of the lens with clear silicon for good measure.
Refit the mounting brackets.

Do they stay on when you put the lights on?

Yeah. Got them wired for max brightness.
They are on with engine running and stay on with side lights and main lights.
Now that they work as DRL's....I'll leave my lights on Auto.  I was born with a photographic memory. Shame it didn't develop!
