yep, flipped them. if i have them one way the 4 led's on the top start to slowly burn & die and the side led's don't illuminate, if i have them the other way the 4 led's on the top don't illuminate yet the 4 on the sides do.

problem is that i don't have anything to test them on. so little stuck right now and no-one in my village has a land rover that i can test them in.

if only i had your luck guys ! Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Glovebox, near impossible to get old bulb out.
Rear passanger side, wire will disappear into the headlining when you disconnect the light fitting. Long nose pliers required to retrieve it.
Vanity mirrors, mine kept blowing fuses when trying to swap the bulbs over because the lights come on as you open the vanity mirror causing the bulb to short out when trying to fit new bulb. Worth getting some spare fuses just incase, or take out the fuse before fitting new bulbs.
Other than that, its straight forward.

Hi,
I have just got some of the 5led bulbs and replaced the ones in the doors first

easy peasy to do them front door done first old one still in the rear

change some more at the weekend

changed 10 now had been thinking about getting a brighter one for the boot, but ones I had been watching have gone from £7.99 to £17.89 now they must be selling well

Hi Fellas,

Does anybody know what LED's to use for the front side bulbs and whether there are any tutorials or guides for it? Wondering how easy it is to replace the bulbs.

Already did the interior which was pretty easy.

its a normal W5W T10 501, i would recommend a SMD 13 as there is only one light so you want it to be pretty bright. A 5SMD isnt enough imho.

Oh sorry mate, I thought you were asking about the rear interior light.

No idea on the lighter bulb, I just left mine as is. Have you tried to pop it out?
