England 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Range Rover to go or stay :)

Hi guys
I have a 2011 3.0 HSE black with cream interia with 73,000miles runs like a dream
Love driving it Smile but I only use it twice a month ? I have owned it now for 6months
I need a 2nd work vehicle eg a pickup . I have looking to get a brand new top of the range
pickup ford or VW £30-35k (with vat) do I keep the RR or part chop it ? I have been offered
£25k PX I paid more then this ? What is the price if I was to sell it private ?
It's such a shame for a nice vehicle to sit there Wink
I brought it july 2014 with 68k on the clock from one Of my customers who sourced it from LR Derby
Do I keep it ? Or buy the pickup as I can clame the full cost over afew yrs through my company Smile

keep keep keep Thumbs Up sounds like you have a good one, been reliable considering the low miles you do. £25k is just a rip off all you'll be doing is giving a good Range Rover away too cheap. Then you may regret it. Big Cry

Sell it and buy a spell check programme. 😛
If you sell you will regret it every time you walk past the space you park it. With so many 0% finance offers about, I'd go that route and still have Sport. I have an L200 for work, great tool but it's always a pleasure to get into heated seats and waft along Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Sell it, get what you fancy. If you do end up missing it, get another one. Let's be honest it's just a car.

I'd sell it because you're not getting a return on investment and sooner or later you'll land a thundering great bill resultant from infrequent usage. Better to let someone else enjoy it now. Sell to a friend and borrow it from time to time. Or start a luxury car hire business! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

...and you won't easily get an impartial answer here, we are mostly biased towards the damned things.

Thanks for the input ! When I do use it I do ! It covers 300-500 miles in a wknd it has covered 5k in 6 months
I cover 60k in my van and the odd 2k in my other old run around

Like you say it will let me down one day with a four figure sum bill !!
It's too nice to put stuff in ! Well it is just a car at the end of the day Wink

Yes £1k per 1000miles loss ! Since ownership !

If I keep it I can do majority of jobs my self Wink like you say that saves me £1000s
But stuffs up the maintenance history if I sell later ?

Hi guys took the RR on a 470mile run today on one tank ! Don't know if that's good or avg ?
Run faultless today ? Lots of power climbing saddlworth on the M62 Wink it's going to be the case I will keep it and buy the new ranger as well as there is a 40-45 week wait time for factory spec build Wink gives me 6months to make my mind up Wink

Letting it stand will give you hassle and big bills.

Get yourself a box trailer and then get yourself a new Sport to tow it then you can enjoy driving it every day. That's unless your customers might think you're making too much and screwing them Laughing
