I bought an 09 RRS TDV8 yesterday. I drove it up from Birmingham to Glasgow with no issues and loved every minute of it. Took it out last night and all of a sudden the instrument cluster stopped working...then a few seconds later all came back on again? I then had to drive from Glasgow to Edinburgh and back and this happened a couple of times?

Does anyone have any ideas? It almost seems like a loose connection, but knowing my luck it won't be that simple....

When the instrument cluster lights went off the other interior lights stayed on ok (i.e. around the heater controls etc) and the headlights etc all kept on working.....

Similar issue found to be a poor connection.
But most importantly remember if you bought from a dealer you have rights; warranty or not the seller has to compensate you for cost of repairs to faults that were present when sold.
Dismantling the dash is said to be a beatch of a job so if you go down that route make sure whoever is doing it has experience. Make yourself known to our resident expert based in Scotland aka Disco_Mikey perhaps? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
