Looks like LR are introducing an S model RRS L494 here in Oz. Is it available in Blighty?

"The new Range Rover Sport TDV6 S lowers the price of entry to the luxury line-up by almost $10K, kicking off at $92,600 (about 50,000 quid)

The TDV6 S is utilises the 190kW/600Nm 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo diesel engine from the next-model-up $102,400 TDV6 SE and front and rear air suspension.

Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, six-way driver and four-way passenger manual adjustable seats, reverse-view camera with guidance lines and hitch assist function, hard disk navigation system with voice control, and an eight-speaker 250-watt audio system.

Too basic for the price and will not be a success - people who can afford that sort of money will pay up the extra for a proper model.

LR pulled the SE at the beginning of the year, which was about £51k. S was never an option here, but interestingly I had a look at LRs Dutch site last week, and found they had S and SE models, still. I was toying with ordering an SE over there in RHD and importing it back here. Done it before and it is pretty straight forward.
As said above, no one was buying the poverty spec, or if they were they were topping it up with £10k of extras, which is what I would have done to get the car I want rather than what LR thinks I want
