 Some years ago, maybe about 7 or 8, Renault F1 team wanted to use them (harmonic, or inertia dampers) on the front suspension of their car ( they were a top team then). FIA wouldn't allow them, primarily because of the advantage Renault would gain over the other teams, although publicly they banned them on a technicality. Citroen 2CV had them on all four wheels from inception to about 1969. 2011 TDV6 HSE Stornoway grey, ivory trim Life's too short to drive an ugly car. | ||
