I got 2 complimentary services as part of the deal when buying the car, otherwise I too would have been interested.

One example here.

Email requesting more info regarding a service plan sent to my local stealers - Friday - email returned today with a follow up phone call - circa £1700 for a 3 year service plan Laughing

I replied - I'm paying £480 for a service booked on the 25th of this month x 3 years - that's that's £1440 - I appreciate different services - intervals are more expensive than others but how does that work out - it is interest free she replied - can I have it in writing with a monthly breakdown etc etc I asked Big Cry

Still no email or phone call back.

Basically £1700 for a 3 year service plan - can that be correct ?????? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Personally, I won't bother. Yes, it might work out a bit cheaper (especially looking at London dealer prices) but certainly not enough to part with £1700 upfront when you don't know what might happen in 3 years.

Recently when I was at a local dealership I am sure I saw Evoque service plan advertised for £499. Not sure if it was for 3 or 5 years. May be it was a deal only for people buying new Evoques from them. I appreciate Evoque servicing is cheaper than RRS but over 3 times?

Personally, I'd prefer haggle at each service interval. Smile

My year 1 service was quoted at over £800 by numerous dealers, I ended up paying just over £400 Cool

I'd rather have the money in my account than theirs Thumbs Up . If you do get it, make sure it's transferable with the car and doesn't die if you change ownership Wink

I got a 5 year service plan with my BMW for less than £300, which was a no brainer, but I'd definitely ask them to sharpen their pencil if they think £1,700 is a reasonable quote Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

You could save more than half that cost by going to your local indy specialist

As long as they use genuine LR parts, it does not affect your warranty Thumbs Up

I have a 3 year plan on mine and it worked out at just under £1200. It isn't 3 x the same price as the 30k service is major and costs about twice as much as the first 15k service. Its also fully transferable to another car should I win the lottery and be able to afford a new model RRS. 2017 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black
