9 Apr 2005 - Peter Hall was given early access to the new Range Rover Sport, on road and ... for the First Edition (limited to 150 in Britain) of the range-topping ... It is the supercharged model that best expresses the nature of the beast, ...

2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

It was an option for the 2005 model year. I've got a brochure that I will dig out tomorrow that states what it is.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Hi

my interpretation of " First Edition " is it was the first of the RRS ie 2005 it was just the first model like your Cortina MK 1 Smile

In the range rover full fats they were known as First Generation etc

Hope that helps but I might be wrong,

I have been wrong on may occasions Embarassed Working with Virgin Trains and band of Brothers/Sisters to do something special for our injured servicemen and women

I too am curious - especially about the spec level of these "first editions".

2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

I've dug my price list out for the 2005 model year and the differences to the Standard supercharged model are:

Increased OTR price by £1'500 to £59'000*
20 Inch Stormer alloys
Hand polished real lined oak door and centre console inserts
Range Rover carpet mats, bright tread strips (4 doors and tailgate)

I've got the sales brochure for the 2005my as well but that doesn't mention the 1st edition.

*OTR price includes 12 months road fund licence at £165, how times have changed!

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

when I bought mine, I was told this.

the first 250 were orange, and only available as S/C. Take it or leave it, you had no choice. You also had no choice with options, they came with everything. as above, plus fridge, media centre in back, perforated seats etc

Once those 250 were sold, they produced 250 in black and 250 in silver, and you could order your own spec.

BUT, it was a salesman telling me this when buying mine, so you never know !  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !
