I recently bought a 2012 autobiography. everything on the car is excellent, except for the sound system.

i think it's an 850W HK system with 14 speakers so you'd think the car would be built to handle that kind of power. I think the main culprit is the subwoofer in the tailgate, which vibrates at low volume.

I've given it into the dealer i bought it from and they have improved it, but not eliminated it.

Do other owners have the same experience, i.e. that's just how it is and i'll have to live with it? Or have you had the problem and got it fixed.

I don't think the bass i listen to is overly heavy. Kiss FM on level 25. about a third of the max volume.

search the forum there was a post recently where someone had the fixings replaced and it sorted it. But I'm far from impressed with the premium sound system, yea its good, but If you bought it new, I'd have kept the extra cash and paid for an ICE install of the same money for a lot more quality. 

I had the same issue of vibration and rattle but both are relatively easy to fix and I have put a post in tips and tricks to explain.
