hello.does anyone know anything about the receiver for the remote control fob.? my RR key fob worked when it felt like it,so i did what the book says and put the key in to recharge,it still only works sometimes.so i have to get in the car by key entry which means its not alarmed.so took it to the RR dealer they said its a common problem and the key needs replacing,£260 quid later I've got the new key and it worked for a few days and now its not,took it back and they want it for a few hours to take the carpets and seats out because they say its the receiver and its under the back seats that means another big bill,goddammit,.so,I've come on here first to see if anyone knows anything about this problem,they said the wiring might be worn or somehow got wet,???.im not so sure,idont want to get ripped off do would be grateful is anyone could help me . thanks its a 2007 sport HSE .

Needs the trims pulled up, and the splice joint cut out, and re-made. Easy enough to do
