I need to fine tune the pick up very carefully (flying with the whole family to London for the event!!!) but my dealer does not want to commit on a date.
In your experience, how long does it take from the date of build to delivery (in London)? I got a build date for 10th March.

Ime told a couple of weeks inc delivery but that is only a guide from my dealer

Mine was built and delivered to the dealers in 5 days.
Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Gone but not forgotten:

I think the slot that I just relinquished was into build on March 18th and at the dealers by the 31st.

Thanks all of you for your contributions.
In the end I don't know if some dealers are just extra-careful and prefer to give their customers "good news" when the car arrives "before" scheduleor or it is just that RRS are send randomly from the factory...
