I find the front screen can block sat signals. I tired my garmin and it took ages to get a signal.

The heated screen's elements will attenuate the signal to some extent so its a matter of finding a product with good sensitivity.

Mine is picking up gps instantly now so don't think heated screen is problem - software issue imho |

^^^ Yes mine was the same - the issue was always on the first trip of the day when it could take more than 20minutes. Once it had got a fix then, if the next trip was within an hour or two, it would achieve a fix within minutes.

Ignore me - just been out and losing gps signal on and off all way home so looks like it's going to have to be repaired or replaced |
