Thanks Beanie I thought you might spot this, we have changed it for a 2.0ltr petrol DSG ! Goes like a bloody rocket, fuel economy looks dreadful though...

Mrs Bean has the 1.2 TFSI, which if I'm honest could do with a few more horses under the bonnet, but is great for around town and up to well above the national speed limit (so she tells me ). Think it's returnbing about 45mpg at the moment, so being a little slower off the line has some benefits
