Is there a guide on here for replacing the rear anti roll bar bushes on the arc bar system??

I've been under the sport today and done the drop links but it looks really involved to do the anti roll bar bushes.

Anyone got a guide or tips or even special tools that make the job easier please tell.

The knocking a driving me crazy now.

Well there is this guide on the D3 site but I'm not sure if it is the same for ARC equipped vehicles.

It's more what tool is best to get to the bolts holding the bushes in place?? It seems it has less space than the link provided.

The ARC system is completely different to that of the D3. TDV6 is much easier than the TDV8, but you dont "NEED" the special tools to do the job

Well that's good not needing the special tool but I won't help with my shovel hands

I've read that dropping the rear diff out of the way with the 3 x 24mm bolts then bar it out of way for better access is a good start.

Special tools are for the front ARC bushes

Rear bushes are exactly the same procedure as D3 rear, though with different bushes.
Don't touch the rear diff

It just looks really tight getting to the bolts.

Well, it is super easy.
one helpful tip, take both rear wheels off before you start and you can easy see and reach the rear ARC bushes.

I didn't try to get them off as the parts were wrong but they just looked super difficult.....

I had the wheels off etc as I swapped the link bars, one had play too!!

Just thought I'd update the thread for future readers.

It took I'd say 40 mins to replace both anti roll bar bushes, it's currently 2 deg and working on a driveway...

To be fair there was two of use tackling it.

One school boy error I did was use the ratchet socket too long then I couldn't get it off, so out come the hammer. Best tool was ratchet spanner then the swan neck.

if and when mine need replacing, fancy doing mine Daz??

I'd advise people not to shy away from doing them if you can twirl a spanner!!

Also cleaned surface rust off break pipes and treated.

So id say I've saved over £500 today....
