5p per litre off 100 litres when you buy two items.

So the saving is £5 and I bet two bag of sweets are nearly £5 Rolling with laughter

Up to a maximum of 100l. On fills over 100l, the 5p discount will be applied up to 100l. Fuel over 100l will be charged at full value.

It says UP TO 100 litres not a minimum of 100 litres... Thumbs Up MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's

Exactly so the maths are even worse if you don't buy 100 litres.

I get 5p off vouchers from Tesco. Might be if you spend over £50 in store.

I did.

So if I buy 50 litres and get 5p litre off that's £2.50 discount and two of the list will be more than £2.50.

Therefore the maths are worse....

I'd peach fills his at 88 litres that's £4.40 discount...

Your assumption is that you did not want any of the items from the list, so in that case ignore the offer and pay full price for the fuel.

On the other hand if you intended to buy two items from the list you gain regardless of the number of litres bought up to 100 litres. The gain being proportional to the number of litres bought obviously.

You are correct on the fact I would eat/drink anything from that list no matter if it was given.

If you do eat from that list and already buy your fuel from shell, I think it's a good deal but I'm not sure it would attract new business.

Do you not also think that the marketing is to fool people into buying the items to save the 5p per litre? People will do that without even working out the cost savings? In reality a 5p per litre saving sounds like it will save you a good amount but really it's not much. Good marketing will make people buy things they don't really want if they think they are getting a good deal. Supermarkets are a good example of this!

Anyway peachy enjoy your free drinks Thumbs Up I'm sure you will have plenty of free ones with your sport.

some would argue that you lose, because you're just getting fatter with all of that sugar ! I don't eat or drink anything on that list Sad

looking at the list i'm shocked that water isn't included...isn't water better for you on the longer journeys ?

isn't is better to shop at sainsburys? they use shell, don't they? i would rather take advantage of the supermarket 5ppl voucher. That way, you can buy EVERYTHING from that list cheaper in store, whilst also doing your regular shopping, saving even more money Thumbs Up Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.
