Wiring loom

Can anyone help?
I have already removed the trim but I can't get to the wiring loom .Do I have to remove the seat to get to the wiring that runs along the passengerside of the car. I'm asking this as both of my keys have stopped working and I have read a post saying you can get water. Causing electrical problems in that area.
