What is it meant to read? I don't quite get these cherished plates in UK, to me its just a 1982 number plate. Not quite sure why it's cherished? "Scabby"? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Me and you both, mate. It's just a Y-plate. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Maybe the potential purchaser should budget an extra £10 for the cost of a deed of name change to Mr SSC23Y to fully cherish the plate? |

Not really worth the asking price!.... I just cannot see the point, cover plates to hide the year can be bought for as little as £75... or change your name by deed poll |

These are my friends initials (SSC) and the 23 is his birthday. Plate was good for him. |

But Saty, not really good for anyone else unless they have the same initials and birthday. It really is very un unique for a cherished plate and worth no more than a few quid. Why is your friend selling it? May as well keep it? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

He bought a different one so this one is surplus to his requirements so I thought I would stick it up on all the forums I belong too. Doubt he will use it again and he does not want to spend the £25 annual retention fee. |
