Cruise control

"Cruise control not permitted" warning beeps intermittently plus cruise control only works very rarely. Loose wiring? Any ideas or solutions please?

Could be the brake switch - it has an initial switch that disengages the cruise control and then the next position activates the brake lights. Might be worth having a look at it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks, I'll certainly check it out. Just seems random - sometimes going over a hard bump, sometimes for no reason at all.

If it's not the brake pedal switch then it might be the clockspring (bad news it's expensive) or the wiring harness (better news it's cheap and easy to fit) 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
