Mudalloverit and I took part in one of the occassional offroading weekends that are run by a mutual friend of ours in the Argyll Forest. Many of you may not be aware of the legal situation with offroading in Scotland - basically you cannot just go offroad where-ever you want so it is s case of joining a club and going on a pay and play day or knowing a landowner who doesn't mind a fleet of 4WD vehicles churning up their land. There are no Green Lanes as such and where we were this weekend is the nearest equivalent. We did have the permission of the landowner as well!

I restrict my RRS offroading to places where there aren't any overhanging trees, large boulders sticking out into the tracks and no gorse bushes to pull off the paint! Gorse and brambles are about the worst things there are for body damage after big rocks!

Again, very impresive, I take it the video doesn't do justice to how steep that hill is? Don | ||
