adding a tv card to touch screen

Does anyone know how this was connected to the touch screen, its a tv card player

I am looking at the idea as I want to plug in my usb sticks into my 2009 tdv8, its the only dissapointment with the car.

I have one in mine,mine just runs through the Gvif unit.
