2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Stornoway Grey

Electronic Parking Brake

Hi All

I activated my parking brake and there was a right loud squeal from the mechanism as it started to operate. I had flicked the switch as an afterthought as I was getting out. I had to jump in and quickly disengage the switch (turned off). Unfortunately it now has a red brake warning light on.

Anyone know what might have happened?

Yes, you need to check and clean the EPB shoes, then adjust it properly.
Check my brake bible if you want to give it a go. Also disco Mikey's thread on fixing the module. F it's already gone too far.... Bodsys Brake Bible

I'll be needing to chat to you soon about software upgrades and Bluetooth. Only had the sport for a couple of weeks so everything is still new to me.

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Hi All just replaced epb electric module, rear discs, rear pads and shoes. now have orange warning light for brakes. How do I get this to clear???
