They are quite dark and I wonder if they'd fail the light meter test. The tint, in my case, is a film applied to the window - I can see the edge of the film if I look carefully. Presumably it would be a relatively simple affair to remove the tint by just peeling it off? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

yes, mine was film over the glass & he said I had to remove it before he would let me go as car was unsafe to drive ( ), I had my 2 kids in the car & the baby was late for a feed so I refused to remove them, told the copper I would drive home with the windows open and there was nothing he could do about it as the car was perfectly safe if I wasn't looking through tinted glass. To his frustration he had no choice to but let me go he said that he was putting it on the system that if any other patrol caught me with my windows up he was personally coming round my house to nick me again What a wa er!!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater of the police, I think they do an amazing job and one that I could never do. That said, there is a right way to treat people and then there are wa@@@rs, it wasn't what he did but more so the way he went about it, on a power trip (obviously bullied at school)
