Not enough information old chap. Speed related, rev related, frequency of vibration?

Why did L/R change your EGR valves? Was there a fault code showing?

Could be the well known torque converter shudder? Do the revs fluctuate when the vibration happens? Just a brief increase of about 500. Popular cheap fix is addition of a Lubegard product called Dr Tranny to the transmission fluid. Lots of info on this over on the Disco3 site. If the additive works then a longer term solution might be a double flush transmission fluid change. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Get under you car and look at the propshaft in the middle of it there's a bearing it is mounted in a rubber ring with a steel ring around it that bolts to the floor the rubber cud of split like mine did
Easy to swap over prop for prop

This is interesting because my rrs tdv8 vibrates on acceleration and as described you can drive through it , very noticeable on roundabouts and on inclines . Will ask my local Land Rover dealer to inspect propshaft as I believe this could be the cause . Had my gearbox oil flushed and changed about 10 months ago and the result was a more responsive gear change but for the last 6 months this vibration has become increasingly more noticeable !!

Sorry alfie, but would plug for the torque converter, had a gearbox flush and dr tranny added last year, better/smoother gearchange etc till March this year had the caravan on the back accelerated from a roundabout and got the judder, noticed from then on fitted a new converter in May before it damaged the gearbox, changed the filter at the same time all well since. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Was that an expensive repair as I've seen that torque converters are an expensive piece of kit , may I ask who did the repair ? The shudder I get isn't consistent, you can drive it one day and hardly noticeable but then the next it's very noticeable??? Also for the past week the Engine management light has come on then after a day or so goes away then today it came on again and two hours later I went to it struck the car up and it went out again ??

Hi I got the torque converter from Bristol transmission for about £400 fitted it myself so no other costs but time. I also replaced the filter at the same time.
As for the EML I would get the codes read 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
2009 TDCi 90 current
2018 Discovery 5 HSE lux current
1994 Dakar current

I imagine changing the torque converter is quite a major task and way behind my capabilities ( I take my hat off to you ) someone mentioned having a mega flush with gearbox which could improve things , does anyone know a reliable specialist near Peterborough that would do this cheers

Local LR daealer has done a health check and pointed out that rear prop is damaged and most likely reason for vibration as described ! Rubber around centre bearing is heavily split and centre bearing damaged ! LR fix is a prop replacement at £550 fitted price , my local Indy specialist has quoted £250 to replace centre bearing hoping that the prop itself is in good order . Just had new front ARB bushes fitted which have helped with some of the clunks and bangs with driving over pot holes !! Also had front and rear diff oil changed and transfer box oil changed all of which came to £353 incl vat at my local dealers so happy about that . It was also pointed out that the front anti roll bar is leaking though only slightly ! Replacement quoted at £1880 incl vat 😧😩😭 which I won't be rushing to do but will keep an eye on ACE reservoir... oh and the rear brakes need new disc and pads ! The hits just keep on coming 😂😂 hey you gotta laugh . I've invested so much money in this car there's no way I'm gonna sell it for someone else to have trouble free motoring !! Wouldn't sell it anyway ( just love em !!)
