Parking Sensor Issues..HELP

I have just purchased a 2007 RRS Revere. When the car is in reverse and the parking sensors are activated, the sensors work as they should, however, once the car is put into Drive the sensor continues to 'beep' for a further 5-7 seconds.

Any advice?

Many thanks Range Rover Sport HSR

As above, they stay on until you get above a certain speed. Theres a button on the centre of the dash that you can switch them off with. Its near the lock/unlock buttons above stereo display. 2007 TDV6 HSE

there is a fuse you can pull to disable the sensors, in the fuse box behind the glove compartment.

I'm currently fighting this, Ive fixed the rear by replacing the sensors and loom, so far I've changed 2 front sensors and its better but not perfect, so will be changing the remaining 2 in the hope that will be the end if it

Strangely all my sensors could be heard ticking when the problem started, its worth putting the rrs in drive and putting your ear up to each sensor where a ticking noise can be heard.

Search the forum there are a few articles Why?.. Because i can....

I believe that in earlier cars like yours, the sensors would become active automatically below a certain speed(10Km/h?).
There was an update of the software that eliminates that and makes the sensors come on only selecting reverse or with the switch on the dash '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil
