Well at long last I have taken the plunge and done a deal with my freelander for a RRS 3.6 2007 and got to say very excited about picking it up next week.
Its got full service history, and a years warranty and looks so cool........

I spent 5 years dreaming of a RRS before I took the plunge but it turned out to be a case of the grass is always greener on the other side for me

Looking back the Fl2's were my best 4x4xFar but the way things are going I may never buy another Lr

What is it with older cars? Had a 51 plate TD4 Feeelander, no problems apart from one brake light switch in 60000 miles, then a 02 plate Vogue that did 58000 hard miles without a problem. Seems once you go post 06 you buy issues. interesting to know from LR what changed around this time.  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈

Its Met Grey with window tints and side steps, checked with last owner he had no problems loved it but now doing a lot more miles per year so it had to go.....lucky me

I think its about then that Ford decided / actually needed to sell L/R although only finally sold in 2008 so were to maximise profits to maximise sales value and no investment !!
