theses might help mate not used them as i just sling my kayak on my bars and strap down or use an upright. but i have used the company before for my roof bars and there service was good.

well if it has to be carried upside down just get some pads for the bars , you can buy them for aero bars on ebay pretty cheap and just uses straps to strap it down and your good to go. ?

Really appreciate your help. I think im now sorted with the LR Roof Rails and Bars, Removable Tow ball, the LR Electrics are now in hand and ive ordered the Thule 923 G2 Euroway bike carrier.

I saw the picture of yours and it looks very good. After a weekend away in the Lakes and putting the bike in the back, and especially as we are now keeping the car for another year, I decided to bite the bullit and buy a carrier.

Just booked the car in for its 3 year service and at the weekend i will fit the wiring loom for the tow bar. I was hoping that the Dealer would update it for free seeing as its going to be connected to the machine during the service for any software updates but................no, that will be 30 mins labour sir as its not included in the service!.
