Anyone know the stock colour for an 07 wheel hub? Mine have some surface rust and want to give them a refurb before fitting new wheels. Rang local franchise dealer, but they "don't have a clue"

If any member has refurbed their hubs and has any tips, much appreciated. Stu

Will be interested to see what other say, but I personally would say something like Hammerite smooth silver spray paint would be fine as I I can't believe that you will see the differences between colours that much through the wheels.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Primer gray is correct. I just had my rear one replaced. I'll serif I can get a pic to you, but the very dull grey is correct. '12 RRS SC

Don't use hammerite it will crack and flake soon after.

Iv just done mine with a Por-15 chassis silver from Frost, this is lovely stuff and can be brushed on easy and will level itself out to give a smooth factory look finish. Much better than hammerite and looks 100 times better.

Just done mine in Matt black, and painted my Brembo's at the same time, will get some pics up later when I'm on pc.

What we talking here? Hubs you can't see or the face of the disc that goes round the hub? Hub and arms are black, discs are a Matt grey that you can see through spokes. My fronts have remained rust free, the rears went rusty but set of new discs resolved that  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈

Only thing is it says on the tin ' do not use white spirit' trust me , don't . Ended up throwing the brush away

Anyways, now looks the dogs with the new 20" alloys in place

Such a great truck, Mrs Stu wants a new 2014 model, but after all the negative comments on here and the massive price hike for the same kit (low ratio box etc) I'm not so sure. Do I really want to spend another £45k for little real gain....? Stu
