Hi Chaps,

I take delivery of my 2009 RRS TDV8 tomorrow and would like to get a remap for more performance, i have 2 questions as follows:

1. which company do you experienced RRS boys reccommend..preferrably in Essex
2. is the remap detectable by the dealer as i don't want to negate my warrenty

your considered replies would be much appreciated

The both do remote tuning modules that allow you to essentially remap you own motor.

1 You buy the remap interface
2 plug in and read ecu,
3 send standard file to tuner by email,
4 they send back a modified / tuned map
5 You upload to car using the interface

You now have two maps on the interface standard and remapped and can switch them at dealer visits if you wish.

You can get a remap from them without the module which is cheaper (i did this with Alive at a Land Rover show for a very good price )

Thanks for coming back with a prompt reply, i contacted a few companies on the internet and got a reply form a company called Mercury in Hutton, Brentwood, the guy seems genuine is there anybody out there with any experience of this tuner??

Well chaps i've took the plunge and ordered a Bell Auto Tuning remap, at the moment they are selling the map and installation unit for £519.00 all in so near as dam it 80 wraps off the normal price while stocks last!!!

Once i've done the necessary i'll post an update......hopefully i'll be as opposed to !?!?!?!?!?

Well guys,

The deed has been done, the BAS Remap is uploaded and the result is excellent, not only does my RRS go like a turkey at Bernard Matthews farm on christmas eve but she sounds better too
