I bought a new Alko for mine, and used the old key and bolt on a second new fitment, which means i have a spare Alko No 5 lock going spare, not sure if your van has the receivers or the lock is the right shape

There you go awd, get a tow bar fitted to the back of your tin-tent, attach your jetski and you can be like a proper traveller.

Never been in a hotel that tells me when to have breakfast other than giving me a 2-3 hour window. As I'm always up in that time period then that's not a problem. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Lots of room, lots of character, no worry about bad weather, no worries about the sound / smell of being in a tin box with people using the toilet 3ft away behind a flimsy door. No feeling like you're living in a glorified bedsit.

thats what i look forward to in a hotel, so i can nudge the wife and say " T H A T S how you do it" @RRSTDV8 "No, caravans do not feature together in any of my holiday plans thanks." there WILL be a lightbulb moment at somepoint when you think, "you know i quite fancy that" i was the same, i hated the idea of being stuck on a campsite talking to Fred next door about his gout, but after spending a weekend in a VeeDub campervan, i want one!! cheers dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! Could not have put it better myself - My daughter (20) hates the idea of going on a motorhome holiday but most of her friends think it would be cool Paul L405 Loire Blue Swift Conqueror 645 Abarth 500c
