Smoke from exhaust

Since my remap I have blue smoke from the exhaust when under hard acceleration

Anyone else had this

Could it be the EGR? “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

I always thought blue smoke was a bad thing, worn valve seals, worn piston rings etc.

The car has been mapped, which is running things closer to their "safe" limits, so it would be reasonable to expect more smoke. It tends to be a grey haze, as opposed to blue smoke.

It could be oil vapour being drawn from the hoses into the engine, and it may clear.

Who mapped the car, as a poor remap could cause similar issues
